Bike leasing takes advantage of the so-called company car privilege (also known as the “0.25% rule”), which has been extended to include e-bikes. Your employer signs a framework agreement with a leasing company, enabling you to conveniently lease your BZEN e-bike through this agreement.
If you are an employee:
If your company already works with JobRad or another leasing provider, you can order your BZEN e-bike right away. If not, you can encourage your employer to learn more about JobRad here.
If you are self-employed:
As a self-employed individual, you can also lease e-bikes for your business through JobRad or other providers. You can find more practical information here.
The leasing period is typically 36 months. During this time, the monthly installments are deducted from your gross salary.
Leasing is most beneficial when the contract runs for the full 36 months. If your professional or personal situation changes, there are various solutions depending on the case. It’s best to discuss your options directly with your employer. Further information can be found here.
A return is generally not possible once the leasing period has started. Therefore, it is crucial to thoroughly inspect the bike for defects or damage upon delivery before the leasing contract is activated.
